Postcard Audio #009 – Downtown Music Shop

A market music shop in downtown Shanghai selling tables of cheap electric keyboards, fiddles, Dizi flutes, drums and Erhus covered in snakeskin. Shoppers test the instruments with different levels of skill and enthusiasm.

Recorded on a Sony MZ-R900 minidisc with a Rode NT3 condenser microphone.

Captured sometime in December 2002.
